The cofactor is positioned in a deep cleft above the β-sheets. This central motif is C terminally extended through a seventh β-sheet (βG) and one α-helix (αG), separated from the Rossmann-motif through a left-handed helix-turn-helix motif built out of two small helices (αFG1 und αFG2). |
