Biochemical Properties The UBN2 protein belongs to the ubinuclein family, which exists in numerous human adult and fetal tissues.UBN1, an important paralog gene of UBN2 that encodes a partial ubinuclein polypeptide,was aberrantly expressed in many human cancers, including leukemia,CRC, lung carcinoma, cervical carcinoma, melanoma,as well as pancreatic adenocarcinoma.
