Biochemical Properties The identification of hDis3L1 as an exosomeassociated exoribonuclease indeed suggests that hDis3L1 shares more functional features with the yeast Dis3 protein than hDis3.The ribonuclease assays presented in this study show that hDis3L1 is a Mg2 þ -dependent exoribonuclease and that this activity is dependent on its RNB domain.
